A Neighbor Who Speaks Tech

Hi, I'm Andrew

I'm a stay at home dad here in Beaverton, and I started Handy Tech Papo to make everyday technology feel a little less frustrating.

I believe tech help should be relatable, respectful, and patient. No question is too small. I'll take the time to explain what I'm doing so you walk away more comfortable with your devices, and your tech keeps you connected instead of holding you back.

I'm also studying cybersecurity at Portland Community College, so keeping your accounts and devices safe is something I care about.

Your passwords stay yours.

I never keep customer passwords. If a sign in is needed, you enter it yourself. Please don't send passwords by text or email.

Good to Know

Common Questions

What if you can't fix the problem?

Troubleshooting is billed at the posted rate even if the issue cannot be resolved. The $40 minimum and any agreed trip fee apply. If I determine another provider is needed, I'll explain the next step and stop work.

When are you available?

Mostly evenings and weekends. Send a request with a few times that work for you and I'll confirm one.

Should I buy equipment before you come?

If you already have it, great. If not, ask me first. I'm happy to help you pick something that works with what you have, so you don't buy the wrong thing.

Do you do repairs, TV mounting, or wiring?

No. I don't open up or repair hardware, mount TVs, or run wiring. I focus on setup, connecting things, and teaching you how to use them.

How do I pay?

Cash, Venmo, or Zelle when the visit is done.
